New York Times Best Seller
by
I won’t lie. When The Blinding Knife hit The New York Times Bestseller List at #11, I was super excited — but I was also like, “Dang! So close to the top 10!”
So this time around I was really hoping to sneak in at maybe #9. As you can see above, you guys blew the doors off. Thank you so much to my fans and to Orbit Books for making this happen!
I am so very very sad about the 10,000 cliffhangers and two year release for book 4. And here I was touting B. Weeks as “the one author that doesn’t dwadle like all the others”… sniff… sniff…
Haha, I’m sure thousands of others, including myself agree that a two year wait is going to be rough.
But despite popular belief, I think Brent may actually be human like the rest of us… besides I heard he is busy slaying hordes of Aliens with his battleaxe; for this we should be thankful, because I’d much prefer Brent take two years and slay this invading race than to get the next book in six months and try to read it whilst being probed… wouldn’t you agree? 🙂
Cheers for the awesome books Brent, I finished my hardback copy and because of it’s EPIC size can now use it to seat my family of twelve around for Dinner! 🙂
Congrats!
Congrats Brent, number 5 is an amazing achievement but I don’t think any of us fans expected any less given your legendary writing skill and dedication to make an amazing story that inspires the imagination and emotion of every reader.
I can’t wait to read the final installment and I would be surprised if it doesn’t reach the top 3.
I had pre-ordered Broken Eye last December and have been Jones-ing ever since. Right after finishing Ananzi Boys I saw that Broken Eye was in my Library! Like a gift from Lucidonious. But I thought it was going to be a trilogy! Damn you Brent Weeks for your brilliance. I read it through within 48 hours (my husband is still mad about my abandoning him for Brent again) and then re-read all of the books. My mind is awhirl with Djinn and plots. So when can I preorder Mirror? Thank you and we’ll deserved congratulations!
no Brent, thank you for such an amazing book, it is your hard work that has put your book at number 5, we where simply a conduit
