Brent’s r/Fantasy AMA Today!
by
Over at r/Fantasy on Reddit, you can ask Brent anything you like about his books, his writing advice, even if he has some spoilers for The Blood Mirror.
He’ll be answering questions at 1pm Pacific Standard Time, so post your questions now!
I am an avid fantasy fan. Jeff Wheeler, Brandon Sanderson, Jim Butcher, Terry Brooks, Terry Goodkind etc: I looked at B and N’s best selling authors listings (Fantasy) and there you were. I decided to give your work a try as I have read many, many novels by above listed authors, but I was sad to see kindle was my only option. I will not read that way. I send too much time looking at lighted screens as it is and enjoy a heavy paper item in my hands. I did purchase a 3 book series, by you, in paperback. I assume it was an old issue. I hope I do not like your style it would be disheartening to be thus limited by your move to exclusive kindle.
Best regards,
GP
Hi Geoffrey,
Brent’s assistant here.
Only one of Brent’s books, Perfect Shadow, is available exclusively as an e-book — and that was only because it wasn’t long enough for publishers to release to print. We hope to include that in a collection of short stories that will be in print someday.
All of his other novels, including his most recent release (Book #4 of The Lightbringer Series) are available in hardcover, e-book, and audible.
Here’s the hardcover of his most recent release from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Blood-Mirror-Lightbringer-Brent-Weeks/dp/031625133X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477490174&sr=8-1&keywords=the+blood+mirror
And here’s the hardcover version from B&N: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-blood-mirror-brent-weeks/1123495844?ean=9780316251334
