Truth is, we’re a super small (two-person) shop, which means we don’t have the economy of scale that big retailers do–which means the cost of doing business is way higher for us, and we can’t compete with big stores’ prices. In turn, our entire business model depends on providing something other stores can’t: in this case, collectors’ items. Apologies if it doesn’t fit your budget this time around.
So is the shop really already closed? I was looking to purchase a signed copy of the “Black Prism” for my husband for Christmas. It’s the only one of the series he doesn’t have in hardcover.
Hey Devon, I’m sorry to tell you that the store is indeed already closed. We open each year from late October until the end of November. We’re a tiny, two-person operation, and the time goes by pretty fast. But we will be able to sell you a copy of THE BLACK PRISM next year.
